A Claude skill that produces Obsidian vault stubs conforming to the Ontological Type System.
Hand it a person, place, work, event, or idea, and it returns a stub with the right type, the right fields, and the right shape, ready to paste into Obsidian. Public entities are verified against web sources where possible. Personal entities are left blank for private fill-in.
The skill exists because the method has a friction problem. Stubbing by hand is the right discipline most of the time, but the schema is detailed enough that producing a clean stub takes longer than the act of attention warrants for routine entries. The skill collapses that friction so the cost of starting a new note approaches the cost of deciding to start one. The posture the method asks for, that a stub is the user’s first careful act of attention to an entity, is preserved; the typing is delegated.
The skill ships only the universal method. Personal vault conventions, custom subtypes, and template variants are not included.
